Fishing is heating up for the fall season. We had the Right Rx crew out trolling today and landed a Blue Marlin, a nice Wahoo, and a Blackfin Tuna. The Nauti Girl and Reel Tight crews did some bottom fishing with a box full of Silver Snapper, Bliners, Black Sea Bass, and Triggers.

Capt Matt had a charter today on the Molly Em and slayed the fish! They caught an abundance of BSB's, B Liners, Triggerfish, Silver Snapper, and released 5 ARS, and broke off a half a dozen nice KINGS. Blue Sky also had a very productive day with a SAIL, and a meatfish slam!

The Blue Sky ventured out and had a productive day. They kept 5 BFT and released several small ones, 4 DOLPHIN, jumped off 2 SAILS and a BLUE MARLIN.

The Vitamin Sea crew made their debut today at GLM and had four nice Wahoo, we also had the Nauti Girl Crew, the Critter Gitter crew, the Kaja Crew, and the Trophy Hunter Crew all out today, with the Critter Gitter coming home with 200+ bottom fish including, Black Sea Bass, Silver Snapper, B-Liners, and Triggers. We also had some Dolphin, Wahoo, and Kings get cooled.

The Big Kahuna had a good day with some Snowy Grouper from the deep and a nice wahoo on the way home. We have several boats fishing the Fishing for Miracles King Tournament this weekend. Several Kings have been caught, and the Kaja Crew is in contention with a fish in the top 25 out of 240 boats.

The Last Dance Crew caught a couple of nice dolphin today.

The Donzi Mama Crew caught two nice WAHOO. The Big Kahuna guys had a pair of BFT’s and a nice SNOWY GROUPER. The Rascal released 3 SAILS and caught some nice DOLPHIN. Critter Gitter also caught SAIL, WAHOO, and a KING. Christy II won the Annual Wahoo Tournament and also landed some(24) nice BFT’s and some WAHOO. The PAINKILLER boys laid it to the fish this weekend. They came in 5th in the tournament, caught 3 NICE WAHOO, DOLPHIN, TUNA and a KING. Good job guys!!

The Cristy II Crew is in the lead at the Belle Isle Wahoo Tournament with a unofficial weight of 58lb Wahoo. The Nauti Girl Crew had a incredible day with a Blue Marlin Release, some Tuna, a couple of Dolphin, and a Wahoo. Our boats will be home tomorrow so stay tuned for the full results.

The sixth annual Camp Pee Dee Fishing Trip was a good one! Dr. Eric Heiden took Deputy Sheriff Wayne Howard with the Florence County Sheriffs Department and some camp attendees off the beach today for a boat load of spade fish.

The Miss Laura Crew had a nice day today with a 35lb Wahoo, a Blackfin, a King, and a Sailfish release. They also had a shot at a Blue Marlin but broke the line.

Florence Blue Water Club hosting the Reel Kids Reel Fun fishing tournament here at Georgetown Landing Marina has been a hit! With over 150 kids participating there have been lots of fish caught. Congratulations to all these young anglers, let’s keep on fishing! Also, Christy II crowd had a terrific day! They ended up with 14 BFT, 2 nice wahoo, and 2 kings!!! Nauti Girl had some dolphin and kings.

Hat Trick, Obsession, and Coastal Lady ventured out today and ended up with a nice spread of Dophin, Kings, and some bottom dwellers. The sailfish are here but they were light on the bite today.

Christy II crew turned it up a knotch with one Blue Marlin, two Sails, a Blackfin, and two Wahoo. That's a day!

The Seabrooke and the Landing Lady crews has a great day bottom fishing that produced some very palatable fare. The Sonny B crew trolled close and had some kings and a nice 48lb Cobia.

We had some decent action today. Painkiller, NautiGirl, and Trophy Hunter all ventured out today and had some Dolphin, a couple of BFT's and saw some Sails. Coastal Lady had 11 nice Flounder with a mess of Spanish and Bluefish. School's Out crew had a couple of nice kings and some nice looking Bottomfish!

The Rascal crew had to pull all their flags out! 7 Sails and several of Dolphin. The Full Pull crew also had a banner day with 7 Grouper including a Snowy weighing in at 31lbs 4oz. Also a beautiful Tile Fish, and trolled up some Dolphin, two Blackfin Tuna, a Cobia and two Kings. Very nice day guys.

A little sporty today but the fishing is hot! Congratulations to Big Kahuna crew for releasing a Blue Marlin, the first Blue to be released in the Carolina Billfish Classic Tournament.

Nauti Girl had a banner day with two released Sails, two nice Dolphin one of which weighed in at 32.6lbs, and also a very nice Wahoo from last week makes the pictures.

Capt. Robert Mayor with Top Knotch Charters put Mr Bob Latta and crew on a nice 4lb 11oz Trout this morning and they also had a handful of Spottails.

The Pain Killer, Christy II, Big Kahuna, Big Sky, Outta Control, Raw Hide, Bird Dog, and Last Dance went out today. The dolphin are here with everyone having something to take home for dinner. Chandler Stokes on the Pain Killer caught a very nice 66lb 6oz Wahoo ,and we even saw a couple of Blackfin Tuna. The Big Sky crew released another White Marlin!

--- Tues June 8th ---
Fishing was good and the report is it was a calm day in the blue water. Jim on the Big Sky released a White Marlin, The Last Dance Crew released two sailfish, Miss Vicky landed a nice Amberjack and an assortment of reef dwellers, Tommy had a great half day charter that produced a 40lb King, The Coastal Lady landed a fish box full of anything from Spades to Spanish to Cobia and Black Sea Bass. The Full Pull released a Sail, The Christy II crew found the Tuna again with some dolphin mixed in, and the Day Maker had a day with one released sail and some Dolphin on of which weighed in at 47lbs! Sweet day guys and gals.

Trophy Hunter leads the Dolphin category with a 23lb. 13oz fish. Pace Maker holds second in the Dolphin category with a 23lb. 5oz fish. Pain Killer has the board with the only Wahoo at 19lbs. 2oz.. Nauti Girl taking first place in the Tuna category with a 12lb. 11oz. Tuna and second is holding complements of the Trophy Hunter crew with a 2 pounder. More to come tomorrow. Great fishing day, with lots of action. Big Sky released a white early, Miss Wy released a 104" Blue one, We also had the Full Pull with a 60 dolphin day. The Rascal, Blue Runner, Split Decision, Pace Maker, Critter Gitter, Right Rx all had a good day also. There were a total of 114 dolphin, a handful of Blackfin, and a couple of nice Wahoo.

Full Pull and the Trophy Hunter Crew had a productive day on a pretty ocean. The tuna seem to be growing and the dolphin are coming in better numbers.

Another good day of fishing! The Right Rx, Full Pull, Earl E Bird, Trophy Hunter, Jubilee, slammed the dolphin with a total of 56. There were also a handful of Tuna.
We also hear that the Blue Sky crew is bringing a Blue to weigh in the Bohicket tournament!

Full Pull, Lady M, Christy II, Last Dance, and Critter Gitter all had a good day on the a nice ocean. We had a total of 38 Dolphin, 16 Blackfin Tuna, and 2 Wahoo, and some others that escaped the count. Good day!

The weather is nice the water is warm and the fish are hungry! We had the Pace Maker, Landing Lady, Critter Gitter, Christy II, Full Pull, Outta Controls, El Zarpe, Last Dance, Schools Out, Tyde What Maye, and Right RX out today, and they all had a nice catch. Not all boats have checked in but so far there are 33 Blackfin, 9 Wahoo, 24 Dolphin, and a couple of Kings on the dock. Good day guys!

Beautiful day on water! We had Big Sky, Day Maker, Earl E Bird, Propagator, McCloud's Crew, Triple Gobble, and Bennett Brown's Crew out on the troll. There were a handful of Dolphin, Wahoo, and Tuna caught by everyone. Early E Bird also collected a few different species that taste good from the bottom.

We had the Hat Trick, Big Kahuna, Miss Laura, and Critter Gitter crews try'em today. It was a slow day trolling with a handful of Dolphin, Wahoo, and Blackfin Tuna caught. The Miss Laura and Critter Gitter crews managed to get in some bottom fishing that produced some nice Grouper and BSB.

The report was it was a little rough but well worth it! We have the Nauti Girl Crew with 17 Blackfin Tuna, 8 Dolphin, 1 Wahoo, we have the Christy II Crew with 2 large Wahoo, 9 Blackfin Tuna, 7 Dolphin, we have the Right Rx crew with 19 Blackfin Tuna, 1 Dolphin, 1 Wahoo, we have the Jessica Lee crew with 10 Blackfin Tuna. Nice day guys!

Blue Sky released a Blue Marlin today. Whiplash, the Critter Gitter and Jillene caught a hand full of meat fish.


The Big Sky and the Pace Maker crews braved a less than favorable forcast and came home with 3 wahoo and 4 Blackfins.
This hoo weighed in at 65lbs.

---Thurs, April 22 ---
Capt Matt with Georgetown Charters had another knock out day inshore with 18 Redfish and 3 Flounder. Offshore was a little slower but some nice fish were caught. Nauti Girl, Right Rx, and Trophy Hunter all fished. The ocean was nice on the way out but a little bumpy headin' home. Between them they caught some nice BFT's, several nice Wahoo, and some Dolphin. Also, Capt Ted and the Big Kahuna crew jumped off a blue in the deep.

Georgetown Charters, Captain Matt Wilkinson had a productive day inshore with 21 reds and 1 flounder.
The Jillene Crew caught some black sea bass and released a nice red snapper.
The All Rise crew had a bang up day with 10 Blackfin Tuna one of which weighed in at 33.3lbs, 4 Dolphin, and 2 Wahoo. Good Job guys.

The Big Sky crew, and Sea Brooke crew enjoyed a nice day on a calm ocean. They scared up a few dolphin and landed a very nine 77lb. Mako. The Sea Brooke crew also stopped an dropped for a boat load of bottom fish including bliners, BSB, and Triggers.

The Big Kahuna crew were rewarded nicely with a calm day on blue water and a meat fish slam. Two Wahoo at 45lbs a piece, a Blackfin tuna, and a 35lb Dolphin.

Another beautiful day on the ocean for everone. Earl E Bird caught WAHOO and BFT, Beau II had a nice mess of BOTTOM DWELLERS, Nauti Girl had a WAHOO and SKIPJACKS, and the CHRISTY II crew had some NICE BFT with the biggest coming in at 36# 2oz. The water is warmin up, so get out there and catch'em up.

Another great day for fishing!!! The Bottom Line guys caught some good BFT, Outta Controls caught a nice WAHOO. On the inshore side, Dick Tracy, Son of a Sailor, Miss Laura, and Heckley all had nice bottomfish. The BSB's are hungry and in pretty close right now.

Today produced some beautiful weather and GREAT fish. Right Rx said the ocean was slick as glass and watched the WAHOO cruisin on the surface. They brought 2 nice ones home. MISS LAURA, BLANKENSHIP, & THE LITTLE BLUE SKY all had a nice catch of bottomfish! Also, Maggie slayed the REDFISH. Everything is starting to heat up!!

UPDATED: Captain Harry Oxner and the "HAT TRICK" had a great day! They caught 3 WAHOO (2 studs biggest was 60 lbs and 6 oz), 1 DOLPHIN, and 3 BLACKFIN TUNA. Seems like everything is starting to pick up out there.

The "SEA BROOKE" crew managed to sneak out again and limit out on BSB's, TRIGGERFISH, and SILVER SNAPPER. The "RIB CRACKER" crew also made a trip to the horseshoe and came home with a NICE load of BSB's.

David Eudy and the "Sea Brooke" crew ventured out into the cold and it was well worth it. They bottom fished and caught 58 Black Sea Bass, a whole mess of Triggerfish, a couple of Dolphin, and 15 Silver Snapper. The ocean was pretty and the fish were hungry. Its time to go bottomfishing!!!!

The crew of the Miss Laura went out in the fog to be greeted by sunny 70+ degree weather with calm seas at the break, and a great day of fishing. Trolling produced a tuna and they pulled in an assortment of fish from the bottom. Caught a nice Hog Nose Snapper a couple of Gags a few Scamps, and some Red Snapper.

The guys on Right Rx ventured out into the beautiful ocean today and capitalized on the nice weather window. They caught 5 Blackfin Tuna, a cobia, grouper, and 5 Dolphin. The crew on Full Pull also went and caught 6 Blackfin, 1 Sailfish, a king, some snowies and some TileFish. All in all a great day on the ocean.

The crew of the Early Bird is having tuna for Thanksgiving. These guys braved a marginal weather day at the hole that rewarded them with a boat load of tuna. They caught 17 Blackfin with a 31 pounder in the group. Great job guys!

The Pacemaker crew found the pulse at the Hole yesterday; returning just after dark with 13 tuna, a large 'hoo, and a Mackerel. Howard said he'd never seen so many tuna out there before. Pics below.

Two Dozen King Mackerel between two boats today, with a 38 pounder weighed. Two more boats had success nears shore on the bottom with Black Sea Bass being plentiful.

Sunday dawned foggy and cool with a chance of rain forecast. Inshore calls for NE winds @ ~15kts, seas 3-4 feet. Offshore forecast is for winds tyo be from the SW @ 10-15kts, seas 3-5, and the wind may shift NE later in the day. Chance of storms both in- and offshore.
A few boats are out fishing offshore: Full Pull, Beau 2, Miss Laura.
"Full Pull" had an excellent trip with a box full of Blackfin tunas (7), a wahoo, 2 dolphin and 3 kings. Had a few cudas, bonitos, skipjack and AJ's with numerous ther cut-offs.
