Meat Fish Slam Results
Reports were of a calm ocean and a beautiful day. We had eleven boats trolling deep today with lots of Tuna and Dolphin. The Wahoo seemed to take today off from the bite.
The Pace Maker crew came away with top winnings by nailing down the 2nd place Dolphin(26.60lbs) and the 2nd place Tuna(17.80lbs) categories, and also the 1st place Aggregate and the Big Dog Aggregate categories. Genuine Risk ended up with the 1st place Dolphin (27.0lbs) and 2nd place aggregate category. The Pain Killer crew took top honors on the largest Tuna(30.20lbs).

The Big Sky crew took advantage of a pretty day and caught a handful of Dolphin with a few of them making gaffer status, and a Blackfin Tuna.

The Big Kahuna crew stuck it out there this morning with a less that perfect weather report and ended up with a very pretty day on the ocean. They landed 10 Dolphin and a nice size Wahoo.

The Blue Sky crew had a good day today with five Black Fin Tuna, a Wahoo, and a Dolphin.

The Early Bird came back today with reports of an unusually calm ocean, and a great wahoo bite. They ended up with two nice Wahoo and a Blackfin Tuna. The Right Rx Crew had similar results plus a Mako.

The Crew of Holt On had a beautiful day on a calm ocean. They ended up with 10 Tuna,4 Wahoo and a Dolphin. The trophy fish was definitely the 72lb. Wahoo they caught as they were pulling in lines to come home. Congratulations on a great day!

Today was the official start of the 2011 fishing season and it is on! We had the Blue Sky, Nauti Girl, Big Kahuna , Christy II, and Critter Gitter crews trolling deep and the Early Bird crew did some reef hunting. They ended up with a nice load of Tuna (31 total), a couple of Dolphin, and couple of Wahoo. The Early Bird crew found some Sheeps head and a couple of nice flat fish. Good job guys keep it up!
